Handover and opening ceremony of Saizen Village Kindergarten building

The hand over and opening ceremony of new Kindergarten building in SaizenVillage, Tiddim Township, Chin State which was constructed under Japanese Government’s the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Project (GGP) Scheme was held on April 7, 2013.Ms.Arima, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, U NaingKyintPaung, Chairman of construction committee together with the local people attended the said ceremony.

At the ceremony, Ms. Arima said on behalf of the Embassy of Japan and Japanese people that she was very pleased and proud of the hand over and opening ceremony of new kindergarten building.She also expressed her expectation that the kindergarten students are treasures of the Myanmar’s future and that the new kindergarten building can be used by young students joyfully. After that speech, Chairman of Construction Committee, U Naing Kyint Paung expressed said that a new kindergarten building has been finished at their villageso the parents can keep their children in the kindergarten safely while they are going out for agriculture work. He deeply appreciated Japanese government and its people for this assistance.

The government of Japan provided the fund USD $ 105,369 for construction of a two-storey reinforced concrete school building, which comprises of one hall room in first floor and three class rooms in ground floor. The Government of Japan, under its Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP) Scheme, has a plan to continue to assist Myanmar in future as well. As for Japanese Government, it is expected that this assistance will further strengthen existing friendly relations between Japan and Myanmar.
