15th Japanese Speech Contest was held at Parkroyal Hotel 22nd June. After the 1st screening from 56 applications, 15 selected students have participated in and gave speech on various kinds of theme in 5 minutes. After giving speech, 2 juries asked a question about their speech and 6 all juries scored the presentation totally.
Some participants couldn’t reply properly to juries about their questions even though their speech was almost perfect last year. But this year most of the participants could reply to juries with confidence.

After the speech of 15 participants, top 3 winners and fighting spirits award winner were selected as follows

2nd prize                Ms. Shwe War Pwint
3rd prize                Mr. Thet Oo
Fighting Spirits prize Ms. Kyi Kyi Lei Kyaw

Certificate is awarded by Ambassador Higuchi to the winners and Electronic Dictionary sponsored by JCCY is awarded to 1st winner, Smartphone sponsored by Yangon Japanese Association is awarded to 2nd winner, and MP3 music player is awarded to 3rd winner. And winners satisfying the qualifications will be invited to Japan under JENESYS 2.0 Program at the beginning of November.
