Sakiko Suzukoi loves money. Her idea of a schoolgirl thrill was looking at a full bank book. After graduation, she worked as a bank clerk, just to be near money. One day she is abducted by bank robbers who take her to the Aokigahara forest near Mt. Fuji, famous for its confusing layout and compasses. There the robbers crash and burn: only Sakiko survives, going over waterfalls and into an underground lake, kept afloat by a suitcase full of money. Recuperating at home again she sees a TV program on the Aokigahara forest and decides to learn geological surveying skills from the Tama University and learn to swim in order to retrieve the money. Sakiko tricks Edogawa, her professor Morita’s assistant into getting arrested and heads for Aokigahara forest by herself. There she searches for the underground lake and, just as her equipment fails, she finally hears the sound of running water and finds the suitcase at the bottom for the pool.
