On 8 March 2018, Mr. Tateshi HIGUCHI, Ambassador of Japan to Myanmar, and Ms. Smriti ARYAL, Regional Advisor, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) signed the Exchange of Notes on the Grant Assistance Project for Inclusive Development and Empowerment of Women in Rakhine State amounting 330 million Japanese Yen.
