
The Embassy of Japan seeks a highly qualified individual for the following position:
POSITION: CLERK (Political Section)

START DATE: October 2018(TBD)
The Embassy of Japan is currently recruiting a highly qualified individual who can provide support as a member of our Political section.
Main duties include:
- Developing and maintaining a network of key contacts across government, political parties, academia, civil society and diplomatic corp etc.
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to diplomats such as handling correspondence
- Conducting ad-hoc research and analysis to produce reports
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree
- Prior work experience using English
- A very good command of spoken and written English
- Must know how to use MS Office applications and internet for research purposes.
- Interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively in a team.
- The Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1 would be an asset.
