The Government of Japan, under the Japan's Grassroots Grant Assistance, will provide a grant aid of US$ 89,450 to “Yangon General Hospital” for procurement of an X-ray Unit (radiographic and fluoroscopic systems combined) for the Radiology Department of that hospital.

Yangon General Hospital was established in 1899 and present three- storied building was built in 1905 to accommodate 342 beds.
