Synopsis:
Tadano Goro divorces his wife, Reiko after she is found cheating. He then takes his son and daughter with him to live in the place where he was born; rural Furano , Hokkaido . The three begin their new lives together in a hut in the mountains, a place most people probably wouldn't call “home”. Unlike his sister Hotaru who follows her father's cue and helps build the house and do other chores, Jun just can't seem to get acquainted to a place that doesn't have running water or electricity. So naturally all Jun wants to do is complain and try to find a way to get back to his old life in the big city with his mother. But somewhere along the way, Jun finds himself getting used to life in the beautiful surroundings of Furano. Later, they heard that their mother Reiko had died…
