The Embassy of Japan will be presenting Station ( Eki ) directed by Yasuo Furuhata at the Assembly Hall of the Embassy on June 26 (Thursday) and 27 (Friday) 2008, at 2:30 p.m. .
Tickets for the Film Shows will be available from June 16 to the day of the show (during 8:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:30 ) at the Embassy of Japan. One ticket is for one person only. Please note that the total number of audience is limited.

Synopsis:
Eiji Mikami is a sharp shooter and he participated in the 1968 Mexico Olympics. His devotion to his profession leads to divorce of his wife. One day his coach is shot on the road by a cop-killer known as Criminal 22. Eiji sets out to get that criminal. On his way to Ofuyu, Eiji meets a lonely restaurant proprietress Kiriko at a railway station and falls in love with her. Back in Ofuyu, he fancies a peaceful life with Kiriko. When he returns to her town he learns that another cop is murdered by Criminal 22. The criminal happens to be kiriko's old lover. Eiji rushes to her apartment and shoots the killer. Thinking that Eiji professes his love for her only to kill her boy friend, Kiriko turns away from him.
