| The Japanese Embassy, Yangon is now ready to accept entries for the 6thJapanese Literature Translation Contest 2011. This contest was established in 2006 by the Embassy of Japan in cooperation with the Myanmar Association for Japan Alumni (MAJA), and has been supported by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yangon (JCCY). The intention of the contest is to measure participants’ ability to translate Japanese into Myanmar. The contest will be held for three categories, as similar to the contest held last year.

Application forms are to be submitted to the Information & Culture Section of the Embassy of Japan at 100, Natmauk Road, Bahan Township in Yangon or to HITO Centre, Corner of 80th & 12th Street, in Mandalay.
Those people interestedare cordially requested to submit their application forms in time as the number of participantsmight be limited.
