The only building in Nga Pyaw Taw Village Basic Education Primary School is aged, decayed and not in a safe condition for both students and teachers. Due to the flood which rose up to 1.2 meters in July 2015, the school building and furniture have been seriously damaged and the students are exposed to rain and wind while studying. Under such circumstances, the Japanese Government will support construction of a two-storey R.C.C building with 6 classrooms, full furniture and lavatories. The project will benefit 118 students of the school.
The only building in Htauk Shar Pin Village Basic Education Primary School was built in 1948, has no window frames and there are holes on the wall. The building was also damaged by the flood which rose up to 1.8 meters in July 2015. Under such circumstances, the Japanese Government will support construction of an one-storey R.C.C building with 5 classrooms, full furniture and lavatories. The project will benefit 66 students of the school.
Three buildings in No.2 Basic Education Middle School in Hinthada Township are aged and are not safe for the students. Two of the buildings are designated as dangerous buildings but they are still in use since they cannot afford to renovate or build new ones. Under such circumstances, the Japanese Government will support construction of a one-storey R.C.C building with 8 classrooms, full furniture and walkway. The project will benefit 391 students of the school.
Two Sub Rural Health Centers in Kawt Dan Mei and Ya Tha Wal Villages use private houses as Center buildings. Both centers lack staff quarters, medical storage and delivery rooms. Under such circumstances, the Japanese Government will support construction of two Sub Rural Health Center buildings and Staff Quarters with furniture and medical equipment. The project will benefit 6,168 residents of 10 villages.
Two school buildings in Kyauk Aine Village Basic Education Post Primary School are aged and decayed. There are no enough classrooms and furniture for the students. Moreover, floods hit the school twice in July and August 2015 which washed away the floors of the school buildings and lavatories. Under such circumstances, the Japanese Government will support construction of one-storey R.C.C building with 6 classrooms, furniture and lavatories. The project will benefit 244 students of the school.
