1. Job Duties
・Secretarial support and clinical assistance of the diplomat (medical attache)
・Support services for Japanese residents or traveler in Myanmar (e.g., consular assistance)
2. Number of Positions & Expected Start Date
・One position. It will be to start on April 1, 2027
3. Work Location
・Medical Section, Embassy of Japan in Myanmar
No. 100 Natmauk Road, Bahan Township, Yangon, Myanmar
4. Employment Type
・Full-time employment contract (includes a 3-month probationary period)
5. Working day and time
・5 days a week, Monday through Friday (excluding embassy holidays)
・8:30 AM – 5:15 PM (Lunch break: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM)
・Overtime work and work on days off may be sometimes required
6. Salary
・Determined based on the Embassy’s regulations, taking into account educational background, experience, and skills.

(1) Under 50 years old
(2) University graduated
(3) Holder of medical qualifications (e.g., doctor or nurse)
(4) Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Japanese or English
(5) PC skills (e.g., ability to create documents in Word and Excel)
(6) Knowledgeable about the medical situation in Myanmar and capable of building networks with local medical professionals

(1) Document Screening
Successful candidates will be notified of the document screening results in early November. Please note that unsuccessful candidates will not be contacted.
(2) Secondary and Final Screening
・Interviews (conducted multiple times)
・Medical knowledge test (scheduled for early November)
