Regarding the Opening of the Japan Visa Application Centre

In order to provide better service and convenience to those applying for visas, we have decided to open the Japan Visa Application Centre (JVAC) to accept and issue visa applications.
The Japan Visa Application Centre by VFS Service Myanmar Limited is scheduled to begin its operation on December 11 2025.

Business Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 5:30PM
Application Submission Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 12:30PM, 01:30PM to 4:00PM
Passport Collection Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM
(The center will be closed on Saturday, Sunday, Public Holiday and when the Embassy is closed)

1. The acceptance of visa applications at the Embassy of Japan in Myanmar will end on December 10 2025. Applications at the Japan Visa Application Centre will start from December 11 2025. The result of applications of VISA accepted at the Embassy before December 11 2025 will be returned at the Embassy.
2. For cases related to diplomatic or official passports, or urgent cases requiring humanitarian consideration, please contact the Embassy of Japan.
